IBPS 2016 Clerical Recruitment Process

IBPS has recently released its notification for the recruitment for the Clerical post. In this article we will discuss in detail about the end to end recruitment process followed by them.

Selection process:

Now coming on to the selection process, It will be online aptitude examination followed by Personal Interview. Online examination is conducted in two phases, Preliminary and Mains Examinations respectively. Only the shortlisted candidates in Prelims will be eligible for Mains.

Preliminary Examination:

As far as the Preliminary Examination is concerned, it is Objective Tests for 100 marks conducted online.This test would be of 1 hour duration consisting of 3 Sections as follows:

Mains Examination:

Short listed candidates from Preliminary Examination will be called for the mains Examination. Again this will be Objective Tests conducted online, the difference being increase in the number of questions and additional testing area which is shown below.

And, In Prelims there is no negative marking while here there will be negative marking of 0.25 for the wrong answers and no marks will be awarded or deducted(0 marks) for un attempted Questions

Personal Interview

Candidates who have been shortlisted in the main examination for CWE CLERK-V will subsequently be called for an Interview to be conducted by the Participating Organisations(as given at the start of the article) and coordinated by the Nodal Bank in each State/UT with the help of IBPS. Interviews will be conducted at select centres.

The combined final score of candidates shall be arrived at on the basis of scores obtained by the candidates in the Main Examination of CWE CLERK-V and Interview. Interview score of the candidates failing to secure minimum qualifying marks or otherwise barred from the interview or further process shall not be disclosed. A candidate should qualify both in the CWE and interview and be sufficiently high in the merit to be shortlisted for subsequent provisional allotment process, details of which will be made available subsequently on IBPS website.
