L&T Infotech has already begun its recruitment drives for the year 2016. The pattern will remain exactly the same as of last year, with the written test divided into three sections having equal marks each. Each section is provided with 20 minutes to complete, with 20 questions each.
Hence the student has to equally pay attention to each question of every section. It can be regarded as 1 mark per question. To put it short:
Total Number of Sections: 3
Total Number of questions per section: 20
Total marks per section: 20
Hence the paper of 60 marks should be completed within an hour. The test has the following types of questions:
- English Language
- Analytical Skills
- Quantitative Skills
- English Language section consists of short reading comprehension passages. They are easy to solve and answers can be easily found in the passages. This section also consists of basic grammar usage questions such as fill in the blanks, synonyms, antonyms, paragraph completion, sentence completion, vocabulary, etc.
- Analytical Ability section consists of data interpretation and logical reasoning questions. The section involves easy solving puzzles, graphs, charts, tables, line arrangements, and statement-assumptions.
- Quantitative Ability section consists of maths questions from the topics like algebra, time & work, time, speed & distance, arithmetic, percentages, profit & loss, geometry, etc. This section is of moderate level.
