The written test is conducted online by AMCAT. It is an adaptive test, in which no questions can be skipped and each one holds equal marks.
The pattern is as follows:

The total time duration of the test is 60 minutes accompanied with a 60 marks. There is no negative marking. The types of questions will be:
- Verbal section consists of two reading comprehensions with 5 questions each.
- Logical Reasoning Logical Reasoning
- Numerical Ability section consists of questions from the topics like algebra, time & work, time, speed & distance, arithmetic, percentages, probability, permutation & combination, profit & loss, HCF, LCM, geometry, etc.
- Technical section consists of questions from topics of C++ , Java , DBMS and O.S.
Strategy proposed by PlacementSeason
Do not give importance to marks in this test. It is an adaptive test that calculates the maximum number of correct answers within a timeline. A large portion in this placement tests comes in the written examination round. If a student gets through this, he or she has a 90% chance of getting placed.
