Analytical Ability comprises of questions related to Circles and Triangles, Pipes and Cisterns, Probability, Time & Work and Time, along with Speed & Distance.
The Reasoning Section holds questions on topics such as Blood Relation, Direction, Coding, and Decoding.
The Verbal Ability Section expects the examinee to solve reading comprehensions. Besides testing basic grammar usage, it also includes sentence completion, vocabulary and essay writing.
The Technical section covers areas such as C, DBMS and error detection in programs.
It is a moderate paper with each section carrying equal marks. There are no negative marks. However, the passing the written examination is a must to progress to the next stage of the interview.

The paper may seem easy to moderate. But the time could be a matter of concern. There is only an hour to complete 40 questions. Hence, students are advised to attempt easier questions at first, without spending more than 40 seconds on each question. For this, it is suggested to attempt in Verbal Ability at first. This can be finished in about 10 minutes, leaving 50 for the other two. Next go to the Analytical Ability section which should take another 15 minutes. Among the remaining, leave the Technical side for the last.
