In this year’s Cognizant Recruitment, the company will aim to hire for 16,000 job openings. Any guesses on the number of applicants for these 16k posts?

Well, nearly 3,00,000 people are expected to compete for these 16k posts. This means that the competition for the CTS Recruitment 2020 is higher than ever.

As per the placement officers, Cognizant is hiring on an average of 15,000 to 20,000 freshers every year. The company seems to get about 33% of its overall revenue from digital solutions.

Cognizant is well-known for hiring IITians and has recruited over 500 IITians across the country during the past three years.

Cognizant Recruitment 2020 – Eligibility Criteria

You are considered eligible for taking part in Cognizant Recruitment 2020 if you meet the following requirements:

  • You are completing B.E., B.Tech, BCA or MCA
  • You have an overall percentage of more than 60% or CGPA 6
  • You do not have an education gap of maximum one year

Cognizant Recruitment Process 2020

Cognizant Recruitment Dates 2020

As per the latest information we got, it is expected that Cognizant Recruitment will start from the 1st of September (next month).

Cognizant Interview Process 2020

Once the initial rounds of the Cognizant Recruitment 2020 are over, you will be called for the Cognizant Interview Process, if qualified. On the day of the interview, you will be required to carry the following things:

  • Xerox copies of your mark sheets (X, XII, Graduation)
  • Printout of your hall ticket
  • Three passport size photos
  • Two copies of your updated resume

The face-to-face interview will be divided into two rounds as Technical interview and HR interview.

Coding Section:

The number of Automata fix questions in the Cognizant on-campus recruitment drive will be 7. On the other hand, the number of questions for this section in off-campus recruitment will be just 2.

The Cognizant coding questions can be from Basic programming, Control Structures, Conditional statements, Linear data structures, Advanced data structures, and Sorting and searching algorithm.

Coding Proficiency: While this section is not included in the Cognizant Recruitment Drive 2020 for the role of Programmer Analyst Trainee in Grade A and Grade B colleges, this additional section will occur in those colleges in which CTS recruits for Associate role, with INR 6,50,000 per annum package.

CTS Placements 2020 – Cut-Off Marks

For Cognizant placement papers, the average cut-off marks would be 75 percentile for each section, and you should score more than 65 percentile in each section to move on to the next round. You must note here that the percentile cut-off is not your college-based, but based on the national percentile from the past Cognizant Recruitment drives and CTS placement papers.
