Since one of the mandatory documents you should carry on the day of the drive is your resume, let us remind you that ‘ignorance isn’t bliss’ with your resume. Most often students may overlook the quality and uniqueness a resume should carry. Do not let that happen to you. Here are few tips to make a killer resume.

So, what should you NOT include in your resume objective?

Say a strict ‘No’ to  Resume or CV on top as they know that it’s your resume, general career objective statement, fillers, long paragraphs,  photographs until asked or compulsorily required for the position, grammatical errors, flashy fonts, improper formatting etc.,

Now, let’s get to the good bits

Make your contact details available at the very beginning of your resume, use a resume objective tailored to the position you are applying for, incorporate action verbs, write about your education qualifications, projects and other qualities in you which put you apart from other people in your batch, maintain same tense throughout, provide enough breathing space between the lines, keep simple formatting, rank achievements in the order of priority, and more importantly make it short and precise.

That’s it, really….

Best wishes!
