TNSLPP - TCS off-campus drive 2018 Passing out students


It’s no secret that almost all students badly want a job offer letter from Tata Consultancy Services (TCS). Now is the chance for the Present Final Year Students (2018 passing out) of Anna University, Tamil Nadu to appear for the TCS off campus drive (with The Tamil Nadu State Level Placement Programme –TNSLPP). Yes, the date of AU/CUIC/TNSLPP/TCS drive for 2018 passing out students is on 28th Feb 2018. 


Eligible Branches: TNSLPP TCS drive for the present final year students

B.E. / B.Tech. (CSE, ECE, EEE, EIE, ICE, IT, Mechanical)

MCA: with BSc/BCA/BCom/BA (with Math/Statistics Background)



Eligibility criteria: Marks and Backlogs

  • Minimum 75.00% from 10th onwards
  • CGPA 7.50 and above (no rounding off) from the first Semester to last Semester
  • No Standing Arrears
  • Any break in education should not exceed 24 months
  • Age limitation: 18 (min)-28 (max)

Chennai: Sri Sairam Engineering College, West Tambaram, Chennai.

Coimbatore: Sri Eshwar College of Engineering, Kondampatti [PO], Vadasithur (via), Coimbatore

Madurai: K.L.N. College of Engineering, Sivagangai Dist., Pottapalayam

Disclaimer: The colleges who had already participated in any form of recruitment drives of above M/s TCS for the current academic year are NOT permitted to participate now in the TNSLPP drive. The students who are already placed (in any company) through on-campus/TNSLPP-2018 placement are also NOT permitted to attend this TCS Drive under TNSLPP.


Test Pattern: TNSLPP TCS drive for 2018 Passing out students

  1. English test (Email Writing)-10 min -1 Q (No negative marking)
  2. Quantitative Ability- 40 min -20 Qs (-0.33 per negative answer)
  3. Programming Language -20 min-10 Q (-0.33 per negative answer)
  4. Coding test-20 min-1 Q (No negative marking)



  1. Is this an on-campus drive or off-campus?

Off-campus, conducted at specific venues in Chennai, Coimbatore, and Madurai. It is conducted by Anna University under the ‘Tamil Nadu State Level Placement Programme – TNSLPP’.


  1. Is this for PAN India?

No, this is for Students studying in Anna University and Affiliated Engineering Colleges of Anna University, Tamil Nadu. 


  1. Can I apply for this by myself or should I go through only my college?

Application should be through your College. The notification says “The Principal/ Placement Officer may collect the Registration Fee of Rs.750/-from each student (who is yet to register) and make One Consolidated Demand Draft of the total amount to ease our accounting purposes and submit the hard copy of the registration form (Annexure-I) along with the Consolidated Demand Draft to the CUIC Staff Members camped at respective venues on 28.02.2018 at 7.30AM at the time of Registration. Individual DD’s from students are NOT accepted”.


  1. Is there any form to fill if my College is eligible? 

Yes, accordingly, the students may be instructed to do Online Registration on or before 21.02.2018 through this link and also the appearing candidates should mandatorily register with TCS (


  1. What are the official proofs I must bring for TNSLPP TCS off-campus test center?

Candidates should bring the resume, attested Photo Copies of SSLC, HSLC, Diploma and Degree semester mark sheets for verification along with 6 passport size photographs


  1. From where should I prepare for TNSLPP TCS drive for the present final year students?
